Watch: 22 years Man trying to have sex with own mum

A taboo is in the face of a 44-year-old woman of Mtendere Township, Lusaka, after her own 22-year-old son walked into her bedroom naked and allegedly attempted to have sex with her.

The suspect, Fanizani Phiri, who works at some Tobbaco farm, has since been arrested and charged with attempted incest.

Allegations are that on December 24, 2024, Phiri attempted to have carnal knowledge of the victim, knowing the same to be his biological mother.

Fanizani appeared before Lusaka Magistrate Mutinta Mwenya and pleaded not guilty to the allegation after the offence was read out

The prosecution team is scheduled to call three witnesses to testify when the case comes up on February 5,2025.

According to police sources, when the matter was reported, it was alleged that on that day, Faniza found his mother outside seated before he sat on her laps.

His shocked mother pushed him away and she went into her bedroom where the youth followed.

It is alleged that he entered the room naked and climbed on top of her but a neighbour came to the rescue of his mother when she heard screams.
